1. INTRODUCTION
Persuasion is defined as the ability to use the argument or discussion in attempting to change an individual's beliefs or actions. Parents use persuasion to cajole their children into doing their homework. A team member uses persuasion to convince her technology-averse manager that instant messaging in an excellent tool to keep all team members informed about the project. Successful persuasion depends largely on the reasonableness of your request, your credibility and your ability to make the request attractive to the receiver. Persuasion is the critical skill for the business person, once you are good at it, it takes you to the height of the success.
